Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able perform, direct production, create plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a Briton, and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a child, she played in commercials for a number of companies. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November 1999 to further her acting career. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. She was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' workshop located in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in the year 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism by then and Seth Cooperman got married in December 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows by having an Jewish ceremony. Bo's similar-sex romance with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was highlighted in the list of CNN's all-time Favorite TV Couples as well as named the most popular Television Couple of 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. The show's success has led to Anna growing a substantial followers on social media.
