In 2008, Tobin took part in the cast of Paper Mill Playhouse's production High School Musical on Stage! in New Jersey. From 2008 to 2009, she starred in Oklahoma! Theater of the Stars in Atlanta. Tobin began her Broadway career as SherrieChristian's replacement on stage in Rock of Ages and performed the role of a Swing. In 2011, Tobin performed in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
